Minutes of Meeting: February 11,2008


Present were:
Paul Krow, Ron Morris, Ginny Sutherland, Kevin Smith, Sharon SeveranceMeeting was called to order at 4:05 PM.

The minutes from the January meeting were read and approved and a motion was made and passed to accept them as read.

Old Business:
Treasurer’s Report: see notes from Dave Rich

Membership Report: Ron Morris reported that we now have 99 members paid as of this date. There are two new members. Kathy Giamona and Carol Neely, who introduced herself. Ron introduced guests; Grace Gavis, Joe DeSouza, Jim Hogan from SF interested in lighting and being a stage hand. Alice and Bob March, both with theater backgrounds. Angelo Malloni, Sheila Henderson, and Richard (Dick) Schultz who stated he did a small amount of work on stage

Old Business:
President Paul Krow announced that there was a PASC meeting in January, groups included were the Tappers, Lincoln Hills Music Group, Lincoln Hills Singers and the Players. He explained what PASC is and why. It was confirmed that the November show 08 & 09 will be a Players Production. The designation for the 2010 show will be decided at a later date. It was agreed that there will be no additional performance scheduled for Second Lady.

Player’s Party:
Marilyn Wisher thanked everyone who helped her, and thanked Ginny & Bill Sutherland decorated along with Sandy and Jerry Mandolfo for signing people in. It was a wonderful evening, everyone had a great time.

Reader’s Theater “Solid Gold Cadillac” Feb 16 at 7:00pm and Feb.17th at 3:00 PM. 2008 shows were confirmed for June & September. There will be three shows for the year 2008 and they are free.

New Business:
Yes, we will have an August Show date. Just don’t know what it will be. Angela Blas asked for 2 volunteers to help with makeup for 2nd Lady.

A volunteer is being recruited to be our Historian since Marilyn Miller has left Lincoln
Magic Circle starts March 15 & 16.

Paul accepted a motion to adjourn at 4:40 PM Moved and seconded.

Meeting Entertainment: A play with Fred Ekman he introduced opportunity to do some improv.
