President Paul Krow called the meeting to order at 4:02 PM
A motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes because Sharon Severance was absent, the motion was seconded and approved. Paul announced that he had presented a new headset to Jim Prosser as a gift from the Players. Jim was very pleased in that it was exactly what he wanted. Thanks to Jon Solander for getting it for the Players.
Treasurer’s Report: Dave Rich
Dave Rich reported the balance of $9,166.72.
Membership Report:
Ron Morris announced that we had one new member. Judith Jesness was introduced and we now have 97 members.
Old Business:
Reader’s Theater: Paul thanked Audrey Thrall & Fred Ekman and the casts of 5:00-5:30 and Bus #10 Doesn’t Stop here. They all did a fine job on the show.
August Show: Auditions are June 16 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Fine Arts room OC. Two shows will be presented; The Golden Girls and Teahouse of the August Moon. Producer Dave Rich gave a character analysis for each of the shows. The production concept will be LHBC doing a live television broadcast of each show.
Toni’s Improvisation Class:
Toni told of the great fun they all had and announced that the next class would be June 20 at 1:00 PM at Toni’s House. The cost is $15.00.
Web Site: Each Member will have a page with their picture and their theater resume on it. We could include all the videos of our shows and Steve’s Pictures.
New Business:Nominating Comm. The following people are on the committee Paul Krow, Kevin Smith & Audrey Thrall. Four Officer positions are open.
