President Paul Krow called the meeting to order at 4:09PM. Motion was made, seconded and approved to dispense with the reading of the minutes.
Treasurer’s Report: $9012.52 current balance
Membership Report:
Two new members; Sasha Eason, active in little theater.
Sheila Henderson interested in behind the scenes stuff.

Our membership now includes 100 members
Old Business:
On August 20 & 21 beginning at 7pm in the Orchard Creek Ballroom our production, “An Evening at LBC Studios,” will comprise of two light hearted comedies; The Golden Girls and Tea House of the August Moon. . Fred Ekman, director for Tea House reports that everything is moving along well. Rehearsals are in progress.
Toni Neighbors will host at her house an improv class on July 17th at 1pm, the cost is $15. Tony explained what the improv class is about and what is offered; the audition process and acting for commercials.
Tom Quallick discussed the Lincoln Hills Players web site. Everyone who has appeared or worked as crew will have a picture, bio and experience on the site. Past productions, minutes, board members, etc., will also appear. Everyone will receive the inter-link via Ron Morris to see of what is available.
Nominating Committee:
Anyone who wants to run for the board may announce at the August meeting. The slate was announced by the Nominating Committee. It was announced that Angela Blas has accepted an invitation to run for president. During the meeting Angela asked to speak and said that she would be out of town for family business, but is interested in being president and will do the best possible job for the Players if elected.
New Business:
Dolly James announced the Christmas show. “Where are you Christmas” The story is about a young Mrs. Claus looking for a reason for Christmas. She travels all over seeing what the traditions are in different countries. Dolly listed the cast and their characters. Not everyone needs to be present for every rehearsal as per past performances. Each segment has its date and time for rehearsal. The scripts, music and auditions flyers were made available. Auditions are August 24 & 25 at Kilaga Springs Lodge. The show will be on November 20, 21, 22 (matinee and evening) for a total of 4 shows. There will be no show at Lincoln High School this year. All songs will have background music only, no lip syncing. There were questions from the membership. Anyone who wants to have their grandchildren audition, please bring them August 31 @ 2-5 Kilaga Springs Presentation Hall.
