President Paul Krow called the meeting to order at 4:02pm
A motion was made to dispense with the reading of the minutes because Secretary Sharon Severance was absent; the motion was seconded and approved.
Treasurer’s Report:
The microphone approved for Jim Prosser will be purchased and given to him.
Membership:
Ron Morris reported that we have a new member, bringing to total membership to 96 on the roster
Old Business:
The cast of the Readers’ Theater production was introduced. Audrey Thrall and Fred Ekman will direct the two one-act plays. An improv. class will be held at Toni Neighbors’ house on May 20th at 1pm.
August Show
The summer production will feature Tea House of the August Moon and Golden Girls. It will be called An Evening at a TV Studio. Auditions will be held June 16, 17 & 18th.
Pres Paul Krow said that we still need a historian. This position has been open Since Marilyn Miller left and we need to have a record of our productions. Mary Jo Evans volunteered.
Tom Quallick wanted to know who would work on the web site. The Steering Committee will look into it.
New Business:
A Nominating Committee has been formed to present a slate of officers to be voted on at the August General Meeting.
A new vaudeville group has been proposed. The minimum requirements haven’t been met. There has been no follow-up.
The planned presentation wasn’t able to be here so at 4:24pm the meeting was adjourned.
